Excellent
Service Award or better known as EXSA is a national award that recognises
individuals who have displayed outstanding service. This year over 10,000 people
in the service industry were accorded the Excellent Service Award (EXSA).
The award is catergorised under 8 service sectors, namely Attractions,
Airport, Land Transport, Travel, Hospitality, Retail, Restaurant and General.
SPRING
Singapore and seven industries lead associations (the Association of Singapore
Attractions, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Land Transport
Authority, the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore, the Singapore
Hotel Association, the Singapore Retailers Association and the Restaurant
Association of Singapore) are the leading organisers for EXSA.
This
year, UMC ServiceMaster is proud to be a part of this national event. We have a
total of 18 nominees receiving the Silver Awards under the service category,
General. All successful nominees were then required to attend a one-day workshop
at SHATEC before the EXSA. Our proud winners led by Mr Ryan Sun (GM, UMC
ServiceMaster) attended the award ceremony on 10 November 2005. UMC
ServiceMaster was also awarded a certificate in recognition for receiving 18
Silver Awards, while the participants each received a certificate, a pin and a
$10 meal voucher by SHATEC’s Petals Restaurant.
