CTD2000 TRAINING

In January 03, we successfully setup the CTD2000 for Changi General Hospital. Ms Amy Yung from Hong Kong conducted a two-day training for the hospital's staff. We have also presented the automated dispatch system to the hospital's administrator and they are very impressed with the live demonstration conducted on-site.
The CTD2000 allows end user to place an order either through the inhouse automated telephone system or the inhouse intranet system log-in. The whole process of requesting an order takes only approximately one minute and the system will automatically dispatch the porter via the paging system.
Changi General Hospital is the first hospital in Singapore to use this fully automated dispatch system.
NEW LEARNING CENTRE

We have a new alternative venue for conducting our training sessions.
The Learning Centre is now available for use for training and meeting purposes. It is also equipped with our learning library which service partners can refer to as and when necessary.

FLOORSTAR OUTLAST TRAINING

Miss Michelle Daut conducted FloorStar Outlast Training on 18 Nov 2002 in Singapore. More than 30 participants from Taiwan, HongKong, Malaysia and Singapore learned the latest floor chemical from Michelle. Customers from Changi General Hospital, KK Hospital and Singapore General Hospital sent their staff for this training as well.
ALEXANDRA HOSPITAL WON ENVIRONMENTAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2002

The award ceremony was held on 6th November 2002 at Shangri La Hotel. UMC ServiceMaster was invited by Alexandra Hospital for recognizing her contribution and effort on the Environmental Care Program with the Hospital. After the ceremony, Mr. Victor Chia, Assistant Operations Manager, Mr. Ryan Sun, Deputy GM and Mr. Lee Chin Thai, GM were invited to stage and had photo with Mr. Liak Teng Lit, CEO of AH.
CLEAN AND GREEN WEEK ACTIVITIES

In conjunction with the Clean & Green week in November 02, we had an event at the HQ. Every staff was given a plant to decorate using recycled materials. Carol and Agnes were the winners. Besides that, we had a pot luck and celebrated the birthdays of those born on that month.
